SIX NODE LABS | PRIVACY POLICY

Who we are

This website, sixnodelabs.com, is operated by Six Node Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17124768, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.

Six Node Labs Ltd is the "controller" of the personal data described in this policy for the purposes of UK data protection law.

This policy covers sixnodelabs.com only. Our product, CocoBird AI, has its own separate privacy policy covering the data it collects from its users. If you're looking for how CocoBird AI handles your data, check its own policy rather than this one.

What we collect

This site doesn't use forms or newsletter sign-ups. Personal data comes from two sources: server logs generated automatically when your browser requests a page, and cookies set by our hosting platform, Squarespace.

Server logs typically include:

  • your IP address

  • your browser type and device information

  • the date and time of your visit

  • the page you requested and the page you came from (referrer), where available

Squarespace also sets the following cookies on this site:

Strictly necessary (support security and basic site function, can't be switched off): Crumb (prevents cross-site request forgery), Test and ss_sd (confirm the browser supports cookies and maintain login state), _dd_cookie_test and _dd_site_test (test cookie support), _dd_s (tracks browser errors), all session-length or shorter.

Analytics (identify returning visitors and track sessions on this site, only set once you've given consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit): ss_cid, ss_cpvisit, and ss_cvr (up to two years), ss_cvisit and ss_cvt (30 minutes).

We do not combine this with any other information to identify you personally, and we don't use it for advertising or marketing.

Why we process this data

We process server logs and the strictly necessary cookies listed above on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR: keeping the website secure, diagnosing technical problems, and preventing abuse. You have the right to object to this, see "Your rights" below.

Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, after which those cookies will no longer be set until you consent again.

Who we share it with

This site is hosted on Squarespace. Server logs and cookie data are processed by Squarespace, Inc. on our behalf as our data processor. We don't sell, rent, or share this data with any other third party.

International transfers

Squarespace, Inc. is based in the United States and processes data outside the UK, including in the US. Where this happens, Squarespace relies primarily on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and on the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback where the framework doesn't apply. Both require Squarespace to protect your data to UK standards regardless of where it's processed.

How long we keep it

We keep server logs only for as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, and no longer than our hosting provider's standard retention period. Analytics cookie data is held for the durations listed above, up to two years, unless you withdraw consent sooner.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • ask us what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (right of access)

  • ask us to correct inaccurate data (right to rectification)

  • ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances (right to erasure)

  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests (right to object)

  • ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances (right to restriction)

  • ask for your data in a portable format, where applicable (right to data portability)

‍ ‍To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

How to complain

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, contact us first at hello@sixnodelabs.com and we'll look into it and respond. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Children's data

This site is not directed at children and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the site's functionality changes. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top when we do. We don't currently notify visitors individually since we don't collect contact details through this site.
